Summer Glau
Glau's first TV credit was as a guest on a ballerina on a 2002 episode of the popular television show Angel. She was noticed by director JossWhedon who then made her the character River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. The role was played for the feature film sequel of Serenity. Glau was previously considered for the Power Ranger role (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force. She was ultimately defeated by Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon. She was the role of Shelly she was the high school senior in Sleepover. She also appeared on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " as well as season 2 of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the boyfriend of Jeremy Erhart). Glau played Tess Doerner (a paranoid, schizophrenic returningee) in the second season of The 4400. From season three, she became a regular character. She was also in the horror-comedy film Mammoth. Glau was part of the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles the series which debuted on January 13, 2008, Glau was the character Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration unit sent back to protect John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The seventh episode, "The Demon Hand" featured several scenes where Glau (in the role of Cameron) dances ballet and, Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron's human doppelganger) in the sequel season's episodes "Allison from Palmdale" and "Born to Run". Glau also guest starred in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, which is a CBS comedy series that is a situation comedy.
