Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also produced films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her family was a middle class one living in Los Angeles, she harboured many dreams in her early years. Her mother loved films and was able to instill a love of films into her daughter. Paula took part in school co-curricular activities, and she particularly enjoyed acting. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her friends and participated in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to act during her high school years and she decided to pursue acting as a career. She was in the University of Southern California's summer program, and enjoyed tremendously. She was given a three month project to create documentary films for PBS. After she had completed her three-month task successfully, her first job was working in the production department for television documentaries. After completing her assignment and completing her documentary, she began producing films. Though she loved her job, she still dreamed of being an actor. She began her journey into acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star on romantic comedy Hitch. Since then she has appeared on many TV and film programs.
